Este libro es una colección de cuentos que tratan de un conejo que siempre le gana al coyote. El primero habla de como el conejo engaña al coyote para que le pegue a un panal y le piquen las abejas. En el segundo cuento, el conejo escapa del coyote dejándolo sosteniendo una piedra con el engaño de que si la soltaba, el mundo se iba a acabar. El tercer cuento narra como el conejo engaña al coyote y el coyote come una pitaya llena de espinas. En el cuarto cuento, el coyote es engañado otra vez cuando el conejo lo deja en un carrizal y enciende fuego. En el quinto cuento, el coyote es empujado a un charco cuando trata de alcanzar un queso. El sexto cuento narra como el conejo engaña al coyote haciendo que se meta en un cesto en donde un hombre lo atrapa.
This book is a collection of stories about a rabbit that always fools a coyote that wants to eat him. The first is about how the rabbit convinces the coyote to hit a bee hive with a stick, resulting in him getting stung. In the second story, the rabbit escapes from the coyote leaving him holding up a rock and believing that if he lets it go, the world will come to an end. The third story tells how the rabbit fools the coyote into eating spiny cactus fruit. In the fourth story, the coyote is fooled once again when the rabbit leaves him in a cane field and sets it on fire. In the fifth story, the rabbit convinces the coyote that the reflection of the moon is cheese, and pushes him into the water. The sixth story tells how the rabbit talks the coyote into getting into a basket where a man finds and traps him.
