Njyem is a Benue-Congo language (Niger-Congo, Atlantic-Congo, Volta-Congo, Benue-Congo, Bantoid, Southern, Narrow Bantu, Northwest, A, Makaa-Njem (A.80)) spoken to south and southeast of the Ngoila Subdivision, Upper Nyong Division, in the East Province of Cameroon. The Njyem Provisional Lexicon consists of 3,062 entries with definitions in French and English.
