Abstract:
The information gathered in this document was compiled following the English topical outline of the "Dictionary Of Philippine Folk Beliefs And Customs, Books I – IV", by Francisco Demetrio Y Radaza, S.J. in 1970. However, the data compiled using Radaza’s outline is strictly Kagayanen with English back translations. In his Dictionary, Fr. Radaza compiled data on the belief systems of cultural communities throughout the Philippines, particularly communities located in Luzon, Visayas and Mindanao. Radaza's data lacks information on the belief systems of cultural communities of Palawan Province. The data presented here represent a beginning study of the belief systems of the Kagayanen people of Cagayancillo, Palawan. The initial English outline is included with a Kagayanen translation. The descriptive data is written in Kagayanen with English back translations.

However, she was able to edit the material she included via cell phone interviews.
