Abstract:
This report is a synthesis of the data from a rapid appraisal survey gathered in October 2000. The survey team did research on three language groups: Atong, Ambele, and Menka, of the Widikum-Menka Subdivision, Momo Division, North West Province, Cameroon. The surveyors conducted interviews and collected word lists in nine villages. The goal of this survey was to get a current overview of the language use patterns, intergroup relationships, and language attitudes among the three language groups.
